The We Love Band program is marching into October with four cornerstone competitions across Washington and Oregon — continuing Wendy’s commitment to supporting student musicians and strengthening community traditions. Since launch, We Love Band has generated more than 148,000 dollars in direct support for secondary music education, proving the impact of public–private partnerships in the arts.
Lampson Stadium in Kennewick, WA hosts the Southeastern Washington Cavalcade of Bands presented by Wendy’s and Layne, a showcase of high school marching talent from across the region. Attendees can expect to see Wendy’s presence throughout the event — from on-field signage and PA announcements to swag giveaways for students and a Wendy’s booth featuring the prize wheel with coupons for fan favorites. Of course, the Frosty Mascot will be making special appearances to add some extra fun to the day.
At Union Stadium in Mead, WA, the Pacific Northwest Marching Band Championships presented by Wendy’s returns as one of the region’s most anticipated shows. Each participating band will receive custom gifts, while directors receive exclusive swag bags filled with Wendy’s gear and essentials. Wendy’s will also host a booth onsite and present the first-place awards as part of the day’s celebrations.
On the same day, Grants Pass, OR will welcome the Pride of the Northwest Marching Band Competition presented by Wendy’s. Wendy’s is proud to extend the We Love Band program south into Oregon, highlighting the dedication of young musicians with field signage, swag items for students, and Frosty Mascot cameos throughout the day.
The month crescendos in Yakima, WA at Zaepfel Stadium with the Harvest Marching Band Festival presented by Wendy’s, a long-standing community favorite. Wendy’s will provide gifts for each school, sponsor the sweepstakes awards, and bring the Frosty Mascot for memorable moments with students and families.
These October competitions reflect the very heart of We Love Band — supporting local music programs, elevating student recognition, and bringing communities together. Whether it’s through custom swag, fan-favorite prize wheels, or Frosty cheering from the sidelines, Wendy’s is proud to be part of these traditions that inspire the next generation of musicians.
